Your job.

Within Finance, Learning & Developmentwe work with our clients to understand their developmental needs and connect them with resources and content that will allow them to learn and grow their skill set. This role will support all roles and functions on the Finance team, with career development and training from day one. Additionally, we support other teams who may also benefit from understanding these concepts.

As the Strategist, Learning & Development – Finance, you must be able to partner well with internal support teams and key stakeholders. You will assist in developing new strategies and continued improvements of Finance’s training programs to ensure we’re delivering a world-class learning & development curriculum and experience to the Finance team.

You will play a key role in the organization by ensuring our learning strategy and engagement efforts support the company’s goals. You will also ensure that content design is rooted in adult learning theory and analyze the effectiveness of our learning programs, facilitation, program management, and relationship management.

A successful candidate is a highly collaborative internal consultant and can draw on their knowledge to create and implement pragmatic solutions that drive the learning agenda forward. You will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable with ambiguity, be able work independently and prioritize tasks, have experience in curriculum design, coordinate projects between various departments, and provide other general support as needed.


Primary Responsibilities:


Content Curation & Maintenance

  • Support development of system-related training projects. Manage them from inception to release and ensure content is maintained after launch.
  • Influence the redesign of templates, job aids, and diagrams to improve the retention of the knowledge.
  • Actively manage strategic, cross-vertical training initiatives/programs, impacting the Finance organization’s workflow.
  • Become platform ‘super-user’ and SME on Finance systems and tools
  • Control activities to fulfill identified training objectives applying technical skills, business acumen, and learning processes to satisfy project requirements:
  • Plan and implement training-related projects
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Define tasks and required resources
  • Create and maintain project documentation
  • Coordinate project team/taskforceCreate schedule and project timeline
  • Create reinforcement plan and measurement

Delivery/Facilitation

  • Design training programs to be delivered through Virtual Instructor Led Trainings (VILT), self-paced learning, and E-learning assets.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills to manage expectations and make training sessions educational, enjoyable and fun.
  • Delivery may require non-standard hours to accommodate the time zones of the learners.
  • You will update the Learning Management Tool with these events and content.


Stakeholder management

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with cross-functional partners and key stakeholders across the entire Finance and Global Learning & Enablement organization.
  • Collaborate and develop relationships with stakeholders across all Finance segments to ensure our program offerings are evolving and continuously meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Stay current with adult-learning theories and industry trends to propose innovation.


Self Growth & Development

  • Grow and maintain your knowledge of Indeed’s products and become well-versed in all roles in Finance and Global Learning & Enablement.

  • Work closely with our Program Management and Effectiveness team to identify and define success metrics for this program.

Who You Are

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • 3+ years of experience developing training materials.
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Suite.
  • Formal education and/or experience in Finance and Accounting subject matter
  • Demonstrated experience communicating financial and technical concepts and processes using clear, simple language and visuals
  • Experience with using the following platforms: Workday Financials, WalkMe, Gotransverse, Concur, Oracle
  • Available to travel (domestic and international) based on business need, as needed (when deemed safe by Indeed).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience of instructional design and developing online instructor led and self-study programming.
  • Experience successfully navigating a fast-paced, highly ambiguous start-up environment.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and theories with proven ability and skills to style-flex as needed based on a variety of situations, individuals and audiences.
  • Familiarity with managing courses and learners in a Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience managing multiple competing priorities and projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and proven ability to shift prioritization when needed to meet tight deadlines.

Manager, Performance & Learning – Sales Capabilities

Position Summary: This role needs to live and breathe performance and learning with a focus on building sales capabilities within the US and Canada. The position is responsible for contributing to the development and facilitation of sales training initiatives as a team member of the Center of Practice in HR.   • By working with the sales leadership team, recommend learning and development strategies and programs that align with the division functional priorities in order to meet sales targets and objectives
  • Research, identify, implement and maintain new opportunities for supporting training needs and goals. Identify on-going business needs to be addressed and satisfied by meaningful, action-oriented training.
  • Field ride-a-longs with new and existing employees to identify training needs.
  • Supports the creation of an annual training calendar for all workshops given and prioritizes activities based on the needs of the market and establishes monthly calendars

Education and Background
