Team Overview

The Data Intelligence Office (DIO) is responsible for shaping and executing the data agenda for the firm to power data as a competitive advantage and source of innovation. With a focus on mining big data that enters markets around the world each day, the DIO is building enterprise-level solutions to deliver game-changing business insights.

A critical mission of the Data Intelligence team is to build a world-class Client Relationship Management system for our Securities Division, including sales, sales trading and trading users globally across all products. The CRM solution offers a comprehensive platform to enhance collaboration and focused client strategy development, deliver management analytics and insights and provide sales productivity tools to support workflow efficiencies, enhance client relationships and drive new revenue streams and business models.

Product Analysts have tremendous responsibility to contribute to and influence the strategic vision for digital products, understanding user needs and behavior, and working with teams across the firm to execute on product plans. Our Product Analysts are entrepreneurially-minded, working to solve complex business, technical, and design challenges to leverage Goldman Sachs’ thought leadership and help drive transactions and business relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

How will you fulfill your potential?

Contribute to the CRM product vision by collaborating with functional owners and engineering leads. Influence the roadmap based on forming a detailed understanding of the business functions, processes, data model and overall business strategy.
Prioritize roadmap items and obtain buy-in across many stakeholder groups based on business benefit, effort/time to implement and measure adoption and impact via KPIs.
Define requirements, workflows, data needs and rationalize user requests and challenge the norm to take the business to the next level.
Collaborate within an energetic, integrated team of engineering and user experience talent in an agile development model to continuously deliver transformative capabilities.
Partner with DIO and other engineering teams on important related projects including mobility, telephony and a firm-wide client data strategy.
Lead training and rollout of new features and work closely with the users in a “white glove” approach to drive adoption and obtain feedback. Analyze usage and data insights within the system to further drive adoption and generate KPI metrics.
Keep abreast with industry trends and competitors to identify and respond to new opportunities; become a go-to expert in the CRM space.

Basic Qualifications

BS in a technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
2-4 years of commercial experience working within technology or product management of web and mobile applications.
Excellent communication, relationship building and negotiating skills to foster collaborative relationships across business and technology teams and at all levels.
Superior organizational, writing and analytical skills.
Independent thinker and self-starter with proven ability to execute in complex, sophisticated environments.
Background in financial markets.
Experience working closely with engineering and user experience teams.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, exciting, high energy environment.
Strong cross-functional and team-building skills with an ability to build positive and productive working relationships and foster creativity, innovation, and integrity within and across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in CRM, client-facing front-end solutions or similar functions in financial services.

By connecting brands with opportunities across national inventory sources—cable, broadcast, and digital media—our technology improves efficiencies and boosts the results of linear, addressable, and cross-screen campaigns.Cadent is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Product Analyst to join the team to support the development of our Cadent Advanced TV platform. This candidate must have strong presentation and writing skills; a passion for turning customer requirements into software products; a strong sense for user experience; and the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing the product vision for products that have significant impact to Cadent Platform and the video advertising ecosystem. This role is specifically focused on the Broadcast Television line of business and will report into the Broadcast Product Lead as a part of the Cadent Product Team.

Responsibilities:

Partner with Product Lead on roadmap definition and feature prioritization according to the product vision
Act as Scrum Product Owner on the product development team(s), including writing functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and playing a leadership role to help guide the team(s) in delivering new features and implementing the product vision
Work directly with internal and external customers to understand business and market needs, document requirements and feature requests, and effectively communicate product functionality and timelines
Partner with the Product Lead and all other key stakeholders on user acceptance testing and all aspects of go to market execution.
Partner with Scrum Masters to document and communicate team progress and development status, risks and escalations.
Research and present Proof of Concepts (PoC) and provide pass / fail justification.
Understand market trends and competitive gaps in our products and offer recommendations on product initiatives.
Cultivate a deep understanding of the TV and Advertising space, including engagement with all segments of the customer base.

Requirements:

3+ years’ experience in product requirements and documentation, with at least 2+ years hand-on experience
Detailed knowledge of the workflows, processes and technologies involved in ad operations and ad sales for TV and/or online video advertising
Technical proficiency in all areas of Hardware/Software technologies relevant to ad serving technology, big data architecture and implementation, and internet services
Strong ability to communicate and partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a matrix environment
Ability to turn conceptual ideas into detailed functional specifications from which product can be built
Proven experience working with extremely tight deadlines in order to meet aggressive product schedules
Ability to concisely summarize complex issues and make clear, compelling recommendations
Thorough understanding of information technology organizations and the associated cultures
Experience with JIRA and Confluence preferred
Experience as a Scrum Product Owner is preferred
BA/BS, or equivalent experience.
