We are looking for certified residential appraisers with previous staff experience who are looking for a full-time staff position. Successful candidate will work remotely from home providing high-quality property valuations.

The following are the qualifications and responsibilities of this position:

Complete appraisal products in your local market area.
Demonstrate local geographical competency.
Meet Production and Quality Control Benchmarks.
Minimum of 5 years residential appraisal experience.
Proficient in completing appraisal assignments that include: Single-family, condo, multi-family, FHA and Co-Op.
Provide outstanding customer service to our clients.
Thorough knowledge of local real estate market, neighborhoods and trends.
No current State Disciplinary actions.
Position includes base salary, tiered-commission incentive, monthly expense reimbursement, paid time off and benefits.

Commercial Real Estate Appraiser

Joseph J. Blake & Associates, Inc

The Commercial Real Estate Appraiser position requires the preparation of appraisals and consulting reports for a wide variety of real estate asset types including office buildings, multi-family properties, retail and shopping center properties, warehouse and industrial properties, and special use properties.

The position requires the ability to complete appraisal assignments with modest oversight. Strong problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills are necessary. The ability to complete projects within specific deadlines is a must.

Successful candidates will have opportunities for future growth within the company.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
State Certified General Real Estate Appraisal Certification in New York and/or New Jersey preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
The successful candidate for this position will have 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal, although candidates with a residential appraisal background looking to transition to commercial appraisal will be considered.
Knowledge of Argus is a plus
Driver’s License

Compensation

Compensation will be based on a fee split basis, with a weekly draw against production. Competitive fee splits offered. Job offers full benefit and compensation package.
