A sports agency representing professional athletes to Major League Baseball teams is looking for a sports enthusiast who would be interested in joining the team.
Responsibilities include procuring and negotiating multibillion-dollar employment and endorsement contracts for the clients (athletes), handling public relations matters, and deal with all aspects of a client’s finances, from investment to filing taxes.
This is not a 9-to-5 desk job. Sports agents must have a willingness to travel often to meet athletes, league representatives or even relocate to land the best deals for clients and support new signed players.
The position can expect to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, when negotiating contracts or endorsement deals or when involved in recruiting activities. Often work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
