Pleasurebent Tours is a 44-year old tour company located in sunny and friendly Tucson, Arizona. We take groups on Destination Tours (4 days to 2 weeks) around the world and Day Tours. The Tour Manager/Director will research and lead tours, and serve as a representative of Pleasurebent Tours at all times while on board the motorcoach, in airports, on cruises, and other modes of transport, with customers and around vendors. Tour Directors should be prepared and available to help customers 24 hours a day, while on tour. Pleasurebent Tour Directors serve as representation of the organization throughout the world. Professional behavior and courtesy must be demonstrated at all times.Tour Directors will narrate knowledge, history and content of each tour to Pleasurebent Tours clients. They will research and share extensive knowledge of area; history, geography, flora, fauna, etc. and/or work with local experts to share this with Pleasurebent Tours clients. They will use every resource necessary and possible to exceed the client’s needs.

5 Years + experience guiding/leading tours.
Passion for people, different cultures and traditions.
Go beyond the touristy destination to connect your travelers with the locals.
Flexibility, teamwork and leadership skills.
Ability to make quick decisions to address last minute changes and working responsibilities.
In charge of the quality of the entire tour and to deliver an unforgettable experience to the travelers.
Deliver all the information about the destination/program/schedule.
Understand the expectations of the travelers and focus on their enjoyment of the trip.
Reconfirms every service with Vendors and coaches.
Represent Pleasurebent Tours to keep a cordial and formal relationship with our vendors.
Listen to passengers feedback, take notes and communicate to the Pleasurebent Tours Office.
Ensure quality and consistent product is delivered from vendors and coach drivers along the tour route.
Ensure luggage is properly loaded on motorcoach by hotels and delivered to guests rooms in an efficient manner.
Perform miscellaneous duties on tour to ensure clients needs are met including supplying drinks/snacks on board the motorcoach.
Turn in valid paperwork prior to next tour departure. This includes logs, expense reports and other tour reports.
With the motorcoach driver, maintain and operate a clean coach.

About us: Is a rapidly growing, locally owned tour company based out of Waikiki. We operate extensive circle island snorkel tours in which we provide snacks, drinks, snorkeling equipment, and some of the most knowledgeable tour guides in the industry. We offer tours everyday from 7:45 AM - 5:45 PM, with several Waikiki Hotel pick up/ drop offs available. Our goal is to teach our guests about the wonders these islands while reducing our ecological footprint as a team.

Requirements:

-Working cellular phone with active data plan.

-Ability to exercise crowd control(manage up to 33 passengers) safely throughout 16 locations on the island of O’ahu.

-MUST be knowledgeable about Hawaiiana: Hawaiian history, place names, plant and marine life as well as information regarding locations we visit (see Nuitours.com “grand circle island tour” to see our route/map)

-Excellent people skills!(Customer satisfaction/ safety is our MAIN concern)

-MUST BE A DEPENDABLE, SOBER, HARDWORKING INDIVIDUAL TO APPLY. (ZERO tolerance for no shows)

Job Description:

The Tour Guy is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated applicants to join our New York team! We are looking for a Tour Guide who loves New York as much as we do and is eager to share that passion with our clients! If you love art, history, food and Broadway you’ll be a perfect guide!

The most common question we get asked is: “Who is The Tour Guy?” The Tour Guy isn’t one person, it is a whole team! I wouldn’t say he is a guy either – most of our team is actually female. We like having “guy” in our name because it reinforces that we aren’t just a company, we are a team of passionate and friendly people. We are a group of like-minded people that want to create unforgettable experiences for our customers, always with top-notch customer service and that personal touch.

This position will be a Tour Guide of New York’s main sights including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Statue of Liberty. Though previous guiding experience is not required, a passion, knowledge and skills of storytelling are. This is not an office job, here you will be on the ground experience New York City with tourists and locals alike.

Requirements:

-Tour Guide a experience a major plus but not required

-Tourism Experience a plus

-Fluent in English

-Proficiency in Foreign Languages a plus

-A background in Art History, Culture or Food
